Cancer Screening and Prevention
Twenty-two million American have not been screened for colorectal cancer (CRC). Residents in the State of Illinois are no exception. Illinois continues to fall behind CRC screening rates and remains in the lowest quartile for screening across the nation. Our cancer screening and prevention research projects are designed to increase CRC screening rates among a defined target population of person 50-75 years of age within partner health systems and disparate populations.
