JEREMY CHIA, BS, DC

DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION

Jeremy is a first generation Singaporean-Canadian immigrant with over 10 years of experience in program management and collaborative leadership focused on improving the lives of people and communities positioned at the margins of Western socioeconomic structures, including people experiencing food/housing instability, people affected by the criminal justice system, DACA recipients, refugees and asylum seekers, people self-identified as LGBTQIA, and adults living with developmental disabilities.

His educational pursuits include molecular biology and biotechnology at McMaster University (BSc), chiropractic medicine at the National University of Health Sciences (DC), theological studies at North Park Theological Seminary, and certification in professional mediation and conflict resolution. Jeremy is currently earning an executive masters of business administration at Quantic School of Business and Technology.

As the Director of Development and Innovation at the Center for Asian Health Equity (CAHE), a partnership between the University of Chicago and the Asian Health Coalition, Jeremy works to build strategic partnerships and processes that enhance the reach and measured impact of CAHE.
